Webull recently had $100k prize pool event which was super easy and fun to play, especially with readers helping each other out on the temporary telegram channel that was created for said event. When everything was set and done, we all won $78.68/account.
This is going to be a little tougher event but in the spirit of having fun, I’m launching yet another temporary channel dedicated to this event. Feel free to participate in the channel during this even. You may join in through the stickied link in the main Travel in Points telegram channel.
About the Event
Anyway, here is how Webull has described the event:
At the end of every trading day (4 PM EST), during this event, the overalls tock movement will be checked, and the winners will be declared between 5 PM – 8 PM EST. Only those whom correctly predicted the movement of all the three stocks for that round will be declared a winner. There is also a bonus prize pool of $1,000 for all participants who correctly predicted the movement of 10 or more stocks throughout all the rounds.
Now as far as the prize pool and participation level is concerned, as of writing this article round 1 is in progress, with prize pool of $700, and current participants at 2539. I’m pretty sure the amount of people who can correctly predict the movement of all 3 stocks will be much lower.
Rules
You can read the full list of rules here, but I will copy paste the important bits:
- There are 5 rounds
- For each round, qualifying participant will correctly predict 3 tickers
- Each round will end at predesignated pre-market trading hour for that round
- A bonus prizepool will come into effect at the end of round 5
- Each successful invitation will give the inviter an extra ticket in the current round with a maximum of 10 extra ticket per round
- Only those who correctly predicted the movement of all three stocks for that round will be declared the winner. Each of these winners will receive one ticket and will be able to share in the prize pool. For example if 1000 people participate in Round 1, 70 people predict all 3 stock movements, and these winners invited 30 people successfully into the round, there will be 100 tickets in the pool. The 100 tickets will get $7 each.
- At the end of round 5, all participants who predicted the movement of 10 or more stocks correctly (this could be someone who guessed 2 stocks correctly for each round) will get a share of the bonus prize pool.
