On Jun 3rd, Plastiq sent out an email, titled “Earn up to $60 just by paying early with Plastiq”, offering $20 per $1k in payment with a debit or credit card. You can earn up to a maximum of $60.
Get rewarded this month for submitting your payments early. Use your favorite rewards credit or debit card to make payments by June 15, 2021 and get a $20 USD gift card for each $1,000 USD in total payments. You can earn a maximum of $60 USD for $3,000 USD or more in total payments via credit or debit card.
It is worth mentioning that early last months (few days prior to getting this email) I had received a $10 per $1k offer with a cap of $30.

Closing Thoughts
Assuming you value the gift card 1:1 with cash, and pay 2.85% credit card fee on Plastiq (i.e. you don’t have FFD), your card needs to earn at least 0.8% for you to break even. Obviously the offer is sweetened if you’ve a reward earning debit card that codes as debit card on Plastiq (1% fee). Either way, if you’re eligible, IMO this is a no-brainer offer.
