The categories where Honor Advantage Members earn 4x are:

All other cardholders will earn 3x points on eligible purchase.

You will earn additional reward points for each dollar of eligible purchases charged on your PenFed Pathfinder® Rewards Visa Signature® Card. Honors Advantage Members will earn an additional 2.5X points on top of their current 1.5X points (for a total of 4X points per dollar); all other cardholders will earn 1.5X points on top of their current 1.5X points (for a total of 3Xs points per dollar).
In order to earn additional reward points on your transactions, you must use your PenFed Pathfinder® Rewards Visa Signature® Card for the eligible merchant categories between July 1, 2020 through October 31, 2020. Eligible Merchant Category Codes (MCC) for this promotion are: Telecommunications Services (MCC 4814), Cable, Satellite, Pay TV/Radio Services (MCC 4899) and Utilities, Electric, Gas, Water and Sanitation Services (MCC 4900). Merchant Category Codes are designated by the payment network. PenFed is not responsible for MCC assignments.
