Citi send out a “Feel Like a Million Points” mailer which reveals an upcoming sweepstakes where first place winner gets one million points.
- begins 9 AM EST of August 1st
- ends 11:59:59 AM of August 31st
- open to all citizens or resident aliens who are 18 or older
- first prize (one winner): 1 million points (approximate retail value, AVR = $10k)
- second prize (three winner): 500k points (AVR = $5k each)
- third price (ten winners): 100k points (AVR = $1k each)
- no purchase necessary to enter
- points do not expire
- for tax purposes, the prize value will be treated as miscellaneous income and will be reported to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC in the year in which the points are redeemed. Winner is responsible for the payment of all taxes on the prize.
- Potential winners will be notified by email on or about September 19, 2018
- to request the names of the winner, send an e-mail with the subject line: “Citi “feel Like a Million Points” Sweepstakes” to winner@mkpromosource.com. Requests must be received no later than September 30, 2018.

Considering you have to have a Citi card and be the type of person who pays attention to these things I’d imagine your odds are much better than most promotions. I’d peg winning the mill at, idk 1 in 100k.
