I could tell you what the highest offer has been on these cards or how business card doesn’t count towards 5/24 but if you could make use of the companion pass now and if you don’t want to go through the hassle of how it was done in a traditional sense (opening 1-2 cards and/or spending high amount on the card) then sure why not?
