A while ago I had acquired 50k Wyndham points through what was at time time an all time high bonus on Barclay Wyndham card. But recently Wyndham had a even higher all time high bonus and I have talked about how good that bonus is here.
Anyway, Wyndham points expire 4 years after they have been posted to your account and all points are foresighted if account is inactive for 18 consecutive months. I feel in the latter category.
Earlier this month I had contacted Wyndham (link to contact form) in an attempt to get points reinstated and as you can see above, they did just that, for points that had expired over a year ago.
In fact, I was told “due to the travel restrictions with the pandemic, any accounts that have gone inactive from March 2020 forward will have points returned upon request”.

Do this if you are in a similar situation with Wyndham or even some other hotel/airlines.
