I have been meaning to add some free services for readers but was always held back by questions like “what is the minimum info I should ask from my readers?” and “what should be the requirement for using such service?” Today 5/20, I decided to type out whatever guidelines I could and setup a functional channel of correspondence between you (the reader) and me. I will work on to improve this service over time.

1. FREE CARD RECOMMENDATION SERVICE

The Requirement

• you don’t need to be a subscriber, TiP chat user, or anything like that
• use the format below to fill out basic info
• use the contact page (see next headline)
• subject of the message should be “FREE CARD RECOMMENDATION”

Info to Provide

1. list all credit cards you have  and an estimate dates (mm/yy) for when opened them
2. list all credit cards you want
3. provide your x/6, x/12, and x/24 info where x is # of accounts and 6, 12, and 24 are months
4.  provide your x/6, x/12, and x/24 info where x is # of inquiries and 6, 12, and 24 are month
5. you can do #4 for each report separately
6. are you under 5/24? [ yes I could check it but I want you to tell me]
7. do you have a clear preference between cash and miles/points?
8. are you willing to apply for business credit cards?
9. are you willing to Manufacture Spend?
10. do you want airline miles? if so, do you have an airline preference?
11. do you want hotel points? if so, do you have a hotel preference?
12. what the heak is your short term (6-12 month) goal? ex: hoard points
13. what is your long term goal?

How to Contact?

I want to reply “more or less” on first come first serve basis, so keeping that in mind I will only provide free service when contacted through the contact page.  Make sure you provide an email address that works, otherwise I can’t email you back. No, I won’t be adding the email your provide to subscription list (I don’t think it even works at the moment).

How Will I Get My Answer

Initially, you will get a scanned copy of a handwritten note personally written by me.

I will not send you links through email.
