I applied for Amtrack card four times. Why?
Why not? lol.
This story starts at the very beginning of last month when I applied for the glorious 50k offer and found myself instantly denied. Few days later I opened a bank account (no deposit yet). Then few more days after I was instantly approved for two BoA business cards and on that very day I applied for Amtrack yet again. To my surprise, I was not instantly denied, instead the app went pending.
Few more days later, I got a rejection later. Fast forward to around the end of the month, I applied for Amtrak card again and was instantly approved. By this time I had about $2k in my BoA account. Anyway, immediately after I applied for the card again and it went pending. Later I got a letter saying the duplicate app was cancelled:
We recently received two applications from you for the Amtrak Guest Rewards World Mastercard card, so we’re cancelling the second one.
When someone sends us two applications for the same product around the same time, we process the first one we recieved and cancel the second one.
Closing Thoughts
Got me a 50k Amtrack card. Now ow how do I get the other cool card I was talking about?
