9/1/2023 Update: Dogecard is changing banks so the existing card and bank account, issued via Evolve Bank & Trust, will be closed on September 30th. I was going to wait until a new banking partner was announced but I thought I would update this post now since Fold is going through a huge nerf on September 12.

Just when I thought I had reviewed all worthwhile crypto cards, little did I know there was one that I had left out. There is a crypto card, called DogeCard, which earns rewards in the form of, you guessed it, Doge. This visa card is issued in partnership with Evolve Bank and Trust. The setup of it is similar to Fold card, a Bitcoin-earning crypto card, in the sense that you get a routing and account number that you can deposit money into and then you can spend the money using the DogeCard.

I had issues signing up but their support seems to respond relatively quickly. I also found their app to be much smoother than I expected.

You will see this card advertised as “up to 8% (or even 8.5%) in Dogecoin” but this is just a Dosh deal. Nothing special going on here.
0.85% Cashback Everywhere
Dogecard earns a minimum of 0.85% cashback in the form of Dogecoin. Yes, you can sell rewards (or even buy more Doge) within the app. In reality, this means the cashback is slightly less than 0.85%, however, this card still is good for paying bills 🙂
