Citi is pulling the plug on Citi Pay which is essentially yet another mobile payment like Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and Apple Pay.
Yesterday, I received a an email notification that Citi Pay was discontinuing in April. Today, I received a letter stating that date to be April 7th, 2019.
Closing Thoughts
No real loss apart from occasional promos.

It is a loss as my Citi AAdvantage cards do not work with Google pay.
Citi Pay Australia no longer exists on Android , except on Samsung Pay.
I have received no response from Citi Australia as to why this has happened or why there is no replacement service.
