Ally has set out a referral offer via an email titled “Ally: refer your friends for up to $250”. The referrer gets $50/referral (up to $250 max) while the referred gets $100.
For the referrer to get a $50 bonus, the referred user needs to open an Ally account by a given deadline and fund the account within 30 days of opening. For the referred to get $100, the referred user needs to set up a direct deposit within 60 days of opening the account.
Part of the email reads, “We’ve got a special invite just for you. We appreciate your loyalty and want to reward you for it. From now until October 10, 2023, you can take part in our invite-only pilot referral program. If your friends and family don’t have accounts with Ally Bank, invite them to jump on the Ally bandwagon with you and see how great it is to have a modern bank with great rates and helpful tools. We’ve sweetened the deal on both ends, too. Find out how it works below.”
Closing Thoughts
As far as I know, Ally Banking rarely has a signup bonus, so this is a pretty good offer. If you want a referral, you can contact me directly, for example, through the contact form. Since there are limited referrals to go around, I am hesitant to publically share them at the moment.
Since this is part of an invite-only pilot referral program, I assume Ally is eventually going to have a referral program for everyone. It is anyone’s guess if the final offer will be higher or lower than this.
