This is one of those category 4 Hyatt hotel that somehow makes on every bloggers “where to use your Hyatt free night certificate list”. The best thing about this hotel is that it is centrally located in a sense that a lot of top attractions are nearby.
You will find Lombard Street, China Town (biggest in USA), Pier 39, and Coit tower in 10-20 minute walk from the hotel. Additionally, the golden gate bridge is about 4 miles away from the hotel.
But apart from that I don’t think there is anything amazing about the hotel itself. I didn’t interact enough with staff to tell you about it but they did slip a $20 drink voucher down my door so they must be pretty nice? The said voucher got me 2 glass of apple juice.
The elevator felt a little old. The shower came through the ceiling and there was no handle to go along with that. The shower door of my room made ridiculously huge noise to a point that my SO checked on me to make sure I was okay.
Overall, I think this is a hotel I would not spend 15k Hyatt points on but I would be willing to burn my annual category 4 certificate here.
